Get a Taste of Richmond

Are you ready for Taste of Richmond 2021? Join the community at Richmond Centre on July 30 from 5-8 pm for live music from the band Rewind and a variety of delicious local food.

“The last year and a half has been truly difficult for a lot of people,” said Mendi Goble, president and CEO of the Richmond Chamber of Commerce. “Most people have had to stay in more than usual. We are excited to get back out and offer some events we have offered in the past. What better way to spend a Friday night than tasting food with friends and listening to great music?”

This year marks the 7th annual Taste of Richmond event. Though the event usually features local restaurants, widespread food service staff shortages have forced the event to adapt. This year’s Taste of Richmond will feature local food trucks instead. Trucks scheduled to appear include Comete Alguito, Bluegrass Cheesesteak Express, Sammich Man Express, Poppy’s Ice Cream Truck, Kona Ice, Grounded Coffee Transit, McAlister’s Deli, Sizzlin’ & Sauced, Newby Country Store, and Cajun Country. Several vendors plan to offer attendees a taste of one of their signature dishes at a discounted price. Admission is free, and the event is open to the public.

“This fall, the Chamber of Commerce plans to resume many of our events that were previously canceled or put on hold,” Goble said. “We hope you’ll join us for Taste of Richmond, as well as Pops in the Park and CityFest.”
