Here are 9 fun holiday events happening in Richmond this season.
Annual Holiday Barn Market
When: Nov. 27, 10 am – 6 pm
Where: Chenault Vineyards
Where are you shopping for Small Business Saturday? Stop by the Holiday Barn Market at Chenault Vineyards! Entry is free while you shop from local vendors from 10 am to 6 pm. In addition to shopping, you can enjoy live music from Whiskey River, get photos with Santa or with loved ones against fun holiday backdrops, and more. K-Love Christmas Tour
When: Dec. 2, 7 pm
Where: EKU Center for the Arts
Celebrate Christmas early with a night of faith, family, friends, and great music. This year, Christian radio station K-Love is bringing their annual Christmas Tour to the Center for the Arts! The show will feature Grammy and Dove Award-winning Christian artists Casting Crowns, Mac Powell, CAIN, Dante Bowe, and Jordan St. Cyr*. Tickets start at $24.25 and are available for purchase online.

Christmas Parade
When: Dec. 3, 7 pm
Where: Downtown
Richmond’s annual Christmas parade is back! The theme is “Christmas Around the World,” a celebration of worldwide cultures and traditions. The parade will run downtown at 7:00 p.m, and end at Collins Street. To participate, register online by Nov. 17.
Holiday Happening Craft Show
When: Dec. 4, 9 am
Where: Richmond Mall
Here’s another opportunity to shop locally for Christmas this year! At the Holiday Happening Craft Show, hosted by Richmond Parks and Recreation, local and regional crafters will set up booths at the Richmond Mall to sell homemade and handcrafted products. In addition to handmade crafts by local artisans, you’ll be able to purchase food and baked goods from local farms and food producers. Find unique gifts, have fun with family or friends, and support local artists and small businesses all at the same time.
Mannheim Steamroller Christmas
When: Dec. 5, 7 pm
Where: EKU Center for the Arts
This December 5, head over to the Center for the Arts for a holiday show the whole family can enjoy. Mannheim Steamroller has sold over 41 million records worldwide – 31 million of which are Christmas albums, making them the #1 Christmas music artist in history. Though unable to perform in 2020 for the first time in 35 years, the group will reunite with its massive base of fans this year.
Start the evening with a pre-show dinner ($30 per person; make reservations online by Nov. 29). The decadent menu includes Autumn Vegetable Salad; Sliced Turkey Breast with Sage Gravy; Pork Loin with Cranberry Molasses Sauce; Potato Gratin; Maple Bacon Brussels Sprouts; Honey Ginger Fingerling Carrots; Dinner Rolls with Butter; and an Eggnog Cheesecake for dessert. The Nutcracker Presented by Lexington Ballet Company

The Nutcracker marches back onto the EKU Center stage this holiday season in an enchanting production that will delight every member of the family. Join Marie on a magical journey with the Sugar Plum Fairy, waltzing flowers, the Snow Queen, and, of course, the Nutcracker Prince as they battle the Mouse King and travel to the Land of Sweets. Lexington Ballet performs this beautiful masterpiece under the artistic direction of Luis Dominguez. Choose from two convenient dates: an evening show on Saturday, Dec. 11, or a matinee on Sunday, Dec. 12. Purchase tickets for either show date online, starting at $27.75.
Christmas High Tea at White Hall
When: Dec. 16-18, 6 pm
Where: White Hall Historic Site
Experience a touch of elegance this season at White Hall’s Christmas High Tea! Journey back in time at White Hall Historic Site, the stunning former home of emancipationist and politician Cassius Marcellus Clay. You can enjoy delicious food, as well as quality time with family and friends as you learn about the unique Christmas traditions of the Victorian Era.
