Lori has worked in travel and tourism industry for over 15 years. A native of Madison County, Lori earned a Bachelor of Arts from Eastern Kentucky University (EKU) in Communications, with a Minor in Business.

Lori has received numerous certifications in the Tourism/ City Administration field. She is a Certified as a Tourism Marketing Professional, a Kentucky Main Street Manager, and a State Tourism Ambassador.  Lori serves on the Richmond Chamber of Commerce Board, where she is co-chair of the Economic Development Committee.  Lori currently serves on the Pattie A. Clay Auxiliary as the chair of the membership. She is a graduate of Leadership Madison County and has the honorable distinction of being a Kentucky Colonel.

Lori has a special interest in event planning, historical research, and volunteering for numbers community organizations.

David Jones Assistant Director

David has worked in the tourism and historic preservation field for five years. Prior to that, he spent eleven years working in the cinema industry as a theater manager. A native of Cincinnati, David is a graduate of Cincinnati’s School for the Creative and Performing Arts. He has lived in Richmond for the past fifteen years and earned a Bachelor of Arts from Eastern Kentucky University in History.

David is an active member of several local history groups including the Madison County Civil War Roundtable, the Central Kentucky World War Two Roundtable, and he is a past president of the Battle of Richmond Association.  He is also a member of several fraternal organizations including the local Masonic Lodge, Shriners International, and the Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War.

In his spare time, David enjoys all things related to history, classic car restoration, the local craft beer scene, and the music of Frank Sinatra.
